Changelog 2024-09-24

With this new season and new iteration of the Survivor Survivor League website, I decided to start communicating more about all the changes I’m making to the site during the season. As always, any and all feedback is welcome either directly or via the feedback form.

New Features

  • Updated emoji reaction behavior for existing reactions. Hover/press and hold an existing emoji to see all the reactions, click/tap on that emoji to add your reaction. This is similar to how an application like Slack handles reactions

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug on mobile where writing posts/comments could mess with the screen height
  • Fixed a bug on mobile where clicking on the navbar title/league could mess with the screen height
  • Fixed a bug on mobile Safari browsers where mentioning someone put the cursor at the beginning of the mention instead of the end
  • Fixed a bug where reaction emojis would sometimes not load unless you refreshed the page

Miscellaneous Changes

  • Improved the loading time of the feed and the stats page
  • Improved the speed and reliability of @mention searching
